Okay. This post is to ask a question.
So, I have the Sims 2 Double Deluxe installed on my computer through the library, and I want to rent an expansion pack.
The question is, which one?
The ones that are available are:
-Mansion and Garden Stuff
-IKEA Home Stuff
-Kitchen & Bath Interior Design Stuff
-FreeTime
-Teen Style Stuff
They all sound good. Some not as much as others. But I want to know: which one would you recommend? Put your answers in the comments.
Thank ya.

In which the blogger lies.
Good evening, everyone.
This post is to say four things:
One.
Look Regina Spektor up on YouTube. She's like the Tamora Pierce of music. Famous, but not famous. And brilliant, absolutely brilliant.
Two.
Look Stars up on YouTube. They're like the... the... I would say something like E. Lockhart, or Kristin Cashore, of music, but... I dunno. Anywho, they rock, and look them up.
Three.
I'm reading To Kill a Mockingbird.
Four.
The Disreputable History of Frankie Landau-Banks is brilliance in a book, and I posted about it here.
Five.
I can't do this once-a-month thing. It's too hard. I'm going to post sporadically and whenever I feel like it, so HAH.
Six.
I really, really, need to finish my chapter on Fanfiction.net, or else my total readership of (checks e-mail folder she created specially for her favourites/reviews/followers that I got alert e-mails about) four, maybe five people will be disappointed. Because I was supposed to put up a chapter on Saturday, but I was sick, and the chapter sucks anyway. Wah.
Seven.
I think it's 17 days until Christmas.
Eight.
WE JUST HAD TWO SNOW DAYS IN A ROW, SO SCORE!
Nine.
My nickname is Baka George Washington the Rice-Covered Apple.
Yeah.
Ten.
Thank you to: Sammy-Whammy-Rouge, Queen Shai Na the Milkshaike Creeper, barpl1002, Aya-Chan, Fey, Mom and Dad for following me. Oh, and, I suppose, Kjaere. (:
Those are my 10 things.

In which I like people
People are good. People mean readers. Readers mean comments. Comments mean followers.
Aka, comment and follow my blog, please. I want to know people read this.
On that note, I'm also going to give a link to some friends, and they should follow/comment. Hopefully.
How is everyone?
I'm feeling a bit sick. And it's COLD outside. Snow, is evil in fluffy white format. Not cool, snow...
Before I forget, I'm also going to say that I'm only going to post once a month, unless I have a real urge to blog.
And I don't today.
I would give you all a video, except one, where's the embed thing on blogs?? and two, I don't know how download a video and don't want to bug my brother.
So...
Have a good month, everyone.

Do you like daisies? I plant them, but they die. Whatever I put into the ground withers and dies...
When there's nothing left to burn, you have to set yourself on fire.
Ah... Konichiwa, everyone! ...If people are reading this. Sorry if you are. You don't have to. But if you are, can you post a comment? Or e-mail me? Or something? It's so lonely, here...
But, I suppose, if it's lonely, that means I can talk to myself. I like talking to myself. You feel like you have company. Talking to inanimate objects, too. I talk to inanimate objects. I'm sure they appreciate the company, not being to move and all.
Poor things.
I need to read something else. My book is going nowhere. And, as much as I love Patricia C. Wrede, Caroline Stevemere, Kate, Thomas, Cecy, and James, it's boring. BORING.
I suppose I should give a summary or something of what the heck I'm talking about. Sorry. This is why I pity the poor person who reads this. Aka, you. And, my posts take a long time. I mean, there's a long gap. You must miss me.
Sorry.
My friend is calling me Buffy now, because another friend found a site which has Buffy the Vampire Slayer online for free. It's brilliant. Spike! Oh, and, btw, is Drusilla... not right in the head? I mean, the title of this post is a quote from her, to the Anointed One, before Spike... takes care of him. To put it delicately.
I found another cool site today, too. Wattpad. Like Figment, or Fiction Press, but easier to deal with. I like it.
I'm thinking about changing my background for my blog. Adjusting it.
By the way, I installed a Google Gadget with a daily Harry Potter (and the Chamber of Secrets) quote. I like it.
I'm gonna go read.
Goodnight moon.
I'm going to watch Buffy.
Book: Dunno, right now.
Music: Buffy theme song!
Mood: Tired...

In which I like cats.
Paramore. I like Paramore. Brick by Boring Brick. Crushcrushcrush. Good.
I also like Buffy. She's the Slayer. She's good. Willow too. And Xander.
Buttercup is good too. From The Hunger Games. There's a fanfic about some moment of THG in his perspective. It makes me laugh.
Books are good. Manga is good. I like Japan. I want to go there someday. And get manga. Nana. Lovely Complex. Kimi Ni Todoke. Hanah Kimi. Bleach?
I'm tired. It's 5 PM. Why am I tired?

In which I wonder.
When I was little, I used to think I was the only one with a brain. Who thought. It took me until around Grade 2 or Grade 3 to realize other people thought. Ever since then, the strange idea that other people feel has been stuck in my brain and has wiggled its way into my thoughts, rather like how now, when I read, I automatically categorize what type of sentence it is. Anyway.
So recently, Wednesday the 13th, in fact, I found myself wondering what Sufjan Stevens was thinking as he sang, danced, and was amazing as we saw him live. Yes. LIVE. I always wondered if he, or any performer, still felt self-conscious in front of all those people. How do you summon up the courage to dance (strangely; kind of like a robot dance) in front of all those people? What about those back-up singers?
These are the type of things I think about.
On the topic of Sufjan Stevens (and music), yes, my family and I saw him and his band live. It was spectacular. Despite the fact he played new stuff, stuff we didn't know, he was amazing, and he played three of his old songs, which were simply amazing live.
Bookwise, I've been reading Specials by Scott Westerfeld. Have I posted about this series already? Or the author? He's amazing, by the way. I've read the Uglies Trilogy, and am about to read Extras after I finish the series I'm reading. Also, I've read Leviathan, from another series by him, which is also superb.
Tally. Tally is... annoying. She's not my favourite character. I'm thoroughly convinced she has something wrong in the decision-making part of her head. I mean, do you really have to betray Shay every book? and the subject of the betrayal, in Pretties and Specials, is over someone who flipping (SPOILER!!!) dies. Seriously! You should smarten up, Tally-wa.
Shay-la, though... I love her. She's like Rosalie in the Twilight books. Not the nicest person, not someone I would typically be friends with--in fact, I'd probably hate her--but in a book, as a character, she is the best. Scott Westerfeld is a most brilliant author to think of someone like her.
David and Zane... Bleh. They're not worthy of this book. Neither of them are particularly strong male protagonsists to keep up with the strength of Tally and Shay. They're... not as good as I would have wished.
Speaking of Tally and Shay, I have a friend, Shai, whose best friend is Talli. Funny, right? Ironic! Tihi... You know what they say about small minds...
I've also been reading the books by Patricia C. Wrede and Caroline Stevemer, named Sorcery and Cecelia, The Grand Tour, and Ten Years after. They're written using "The Letter Game"; a game which mostly actors use to stay in character, when you write letters, as a fictional character (or, I suppose, you could do a real one, try to get their head; just not yours) to a friend, or someone, and basically, make a story. No consultation about plot allowed; that's the brilliancy of it. At least Sorcery and Cecelia and The Grand Tour, the ones I've read so far, have an amazing plot. And no planning was done.
Love it.
I'd love to do that with someone. Or, I guess, me. It'd be cooler if I could do it with someone that was necessary you mail it; that way, not only are you making a story, but you're getting letters.
On a different note, Fox is playing a re-run of Glee. :( Although I think it's the one where they play Imagine, by John Lennon, and I love that song. Oh well, there's seven minutes left.
Also, a kid I went to kindergarten with, then he moved away, goes to Gifted (a program for smarter kids who need harder material to learn/do to exercise their brain), which I go to, and he's going to the module (a termly trip for those in Grade 7-8, who have passed the weekly Grade 4-6 Gifted days) on Friday, which I am also going to. Coinkidink, much?
Well, I mostly likely lost all chances of someone reading this. It's long. But long is good, right?

In which I talk more.
I am so tired. I woke up at 4:15 am yesterday morning, so I could be in Toronto by 9:30. For 'We Day', the day where kids from all over Ontario come to Toronto to listen to Craig Keihlburger (sp?). And his brother, Marc. It was awesomely amazing, or amazingly awesome. Whichever you want.
There were tons of awesome people there, like someone with no legs, or a magician, or the dude from Hedley (who has a terrible, terrible mustache; shave it off!). And there were 18,00 kids/teachers there. It was insane. Kinda surreal.
But, I lost my camera. My teacher's going to send out e-mails to other teachers, in case someone accidentally put it in their bag, or I put it in someone else's bag (we all got cloth bags), but it probably slipped down under the seat in front of me, which really, really, sucks. Really.
I've been reading lots, lately, including Diana Wynne Jones, Patricia C. Wrede, and Scott Westerfeld. Gotta love all of them. From Diana Wynne Jones, you have your magicians; from Patricia C. Wrede, pretty much the same, but set in 1876!; and from Scott Westerfeld, sci-fi/fantasy/science. In his companion to the Uglies series, Bogus to Bubbly, you can see how much detail he put into Tally's world, 300 years in the future, and it's mind-wrecking. Insane.
Currently, I'm reading both The Time of the Ghost, by Diana Wynne Jones, and The Grand Tour by Patricia C. Wrede and another person whose name escapes me. In the former, it's kind of creepy, and, personally, I think it's not her best book. At all. The latter is amazing, and I knew that, because I read it about a year ago. Surprisingly, it is the second book of a trilogy (or cycle?), and I also have the third book from the library, but not the first. So I'll try to track it down, somehow.
Right now, I'm watching Departures with Scott and Justin, whose last names I don't know/can't remember. Watch it. It's on OLN, and, sadly, after three seasons, it's over. It's about the two of them (and Andre, their camera man) traveling the world. For three years. It's amazing.

In which I am at a loss for words.
I don't know what to say. Really. This is going to be a pointless, short, post. Just to let you guys know I'm okay. Tihi.
One real thing, though: I put up a fanfic on ff.net, and someone favourite me. I'm happy. Made my day. Week. Whatever.
Also, I'm planning world domination soon. So beware.
G'night.

In which there is mucho fangirly-ness.
Many squees today. First: Howl Jenkins. He is the bestestest drama queen EVER. Sophie is the perfect match for him. Sophie is amazing, too. I love 'em to death. You need to read Diana Wynne Jones. Beeteeduhbs, Howl's from Howl's Moving Castle.
Next.
Gabriel. Oh my Julian. Squee. He is... is... the best. Ever. Read Dark Visions by L. J. Smith NOW.
How I Met Your Mother next. Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay Barney! "Yeah. I have a whip guy." *wwch!wink*
The Cosby Show, too. Still cracks me up.
The Muppet Show 'Wild Thing'. See here. Love drums!
The next thing. A quick summary of The Golden Compass by Philip Pullman.
So, y'all have seen the movie, right? So, after it leaves off, all happy in the aero-whatchamacallit, they go see Lord Asriel. By the way, at the beginning of the book, the Master of Jordan College tries to tell Lyra something as he gives her the alethiometer, but is cut off by someone knocking on the door. He says something like: "You need to give--" and was, of course, cut off, as I said earlier. Lyra always thinks he means give Asriel the alethiometer. In actuallity, he means to say that Asriel needs a child. Lyra, not knowing this, brings Roger, and Asriel, thinking Roger is said kid, sacrifices him. So, Roger dies. Lyra goes through the portal to another world; the world with Ci'gazze, aka, Citigazze, also the world of the Spektors. Then The Subtle Knife starts.
That;s because my friend is reading The Subtle Knife and hasn't read the Golden Compass.
G'night. Stuffy nose.

In which school has started.
Oh, what a dreaded day, when school starts! No one enjoys the first days of school. Unless you do.
On a random note: I'm watching The Cosby Show. I've never seen it before. My mom thought, when she was little, that she was like the littlest Cosby, and the rest of her four siblings were each their own people. It's funny so far. Like the Fresh Prince of Bel Air, but not. Y'know?
I've been reading The Kill by L J Smith. Oh. My. Julian. How can he (MAJOR SPOILER!!!) DIE??? Oh my bajeesus. I hate Tom! He's an evil little twit, and no one likes him, except Jenny. And Jenny doesn't count. 'Cause she's Tom-and-Jenny. And would have been better with Julian. Bah!
I started The Lives of Christopher Chant by Diana Wynne Jones, but got distracted by Leviathan by Scott Westerfeld, author of the Uglies series.
I love Millie, The Living Asheth. She's amazing. Funny. And Millie.
This blog post is short.
Shall I eleborate on The Kill or The Hunter or The Chase? I think I shall.
Julian. Drool-worthy.
Jenny. Good heroine. Too attached to Evil Tom.
Dee. Amazing. Look-alike of Nefertiti. My favourite character in the series.
Audrey. She improves throughout the books. I like her by The Kill.
Michael. Hilarious. A great guy. I imagine him looking like the dude from Reality Bites and You've Got Mail. A cocker-spaniel like person, in my opinion.
Tom. I hate him. He's so... so... BLEH! And BLEH!
Tomorrow, I'm getting Dark Visions from my friend. I lent her The Forbidden Game.
I think it's bigger by now. The Cosby Show cracks me up.
Book: Leviathan, Scott Westerfeld.
Music: Goodbye Toby, it's been niiiiice! Hope you find your, paradiiiiise! -Michael Scott to Toby for his goodbye party
Mood: Laughing? Math homework.

In which I read Graceling and the manga Maximum Ride.
Graceling.
Graceling is incredibly well written. The characters are amazing, the plot is good (but a little confusing... what's the problem?), and Kristen Cashore is brilliance.
It's funny, reading the book, after reading her blog and about how she got to write it. For instance, she used VRC (Voice Recognition Software) to 'dictate' the book from her notes, because she has something in her fingers which makes it hurt like heck if she types/anything like that too much. And Po reminds me, in some ways, of Alpha (see post below). Which makes sense, because I heard about Alpha, Matthew, and Frankie, from her.
I love Katsa.
I have to say, I prefer 'wild' Katsa to 'Po' Katsa. By the end of the book, she's... not the same. she's changed. Which is good, in a way, I suppose. But it's like Lyra; I like her Pre-Will better. In the end of the Amber Spyglass, Lyra compares herself about what she'd do with her new-found ability of distance from Pantalaimon. Old Lyra, she thinks, would show off and scare the children. But Will taught me the values of silence. (Those aren't the right words. Just a brief example, I suppose you'd call it.) Bleh. Show off to 'em, Lyra, I say/think!
Also.
Maximum Ride... manga. Brilliant, right? Right.
I've been having a Max craving for weeks now, and finally, I can sate my hunger. That's a terrible metaphor. I love Nudge. Who doesn't love Nudge? Iggy, too. Iggy is great. Angel... bugs me. Gazzy is awesome. And, of course, Max. And Fang... Actually, I'd most likely choose someone else, but Fang. Iggy? (Y'know what I hate? People who pair up Iggy, and Nudge. Terrible. PERVERTS!) No Total yet.
My (and my friend's) Maximum Ride Hate List:
JEB.
Brigid.
Angel.
We like Ari. He's fine. It ends up. But JEB... c'mon, man, choose a side already!! And go Max for not trusting the idiot!
I love Dr Martinez, though. Ella's cool. Not as flock-ey, though. I don't think she'd last as a bird kid. Sorry, gal. She freaked at the sight of the bullet wound Max got from those meanies who tried to get Ella, and who Max saved her from. Bah!
Mood: Satisfied?
Music: The song playing on the radio right now, about the hand jive.
Book: Graceling, by Kristen Cashore/Maximum Ride, volume one, by James Patterson; manga-ness by Narae Lee

In which the blogger loves home-made potato chips, hates toe cramps, and adores Frankie Landau-Banks.
Home-made... potato chips. Very, very yummy; yet so simple to make. I would have pictures, but they got eaten too fast. All you need to do is: \
1. Cut a/some potato(s).
2. Put them in a bag with olive oil.
3. After shaking well, put them on a plate.
4. Put them in the microwave for ten minutes, or until they are mostly cooked.
5. Add salt.
6. Put them back into the microwave until fully cooked.
Done.
And so good.
On to toe cramps.
What are their problems? Who really needs toe cramps? And why do they have to hurt so much???
No one likes you, toe cramps. Go away, to whatever freakish planet you were made on. Go awaaaaaay!
Next:
The Disreputable History of Frankie Landau-Banks, by E. Lockhart. Who could have thought of something so brilliant?
QUICK summary, no spoilers:
Frankie's a nice girl in her Freshman year in her boarding school; her parent's Bunny Rabbit, Debate Club, and mildly geeky. Not bad. But her Sophomore year, she masterminds some of the biggest pranks in Alabaster's History.
This is how she got there.
Isn't that nice and small? Quite lovely, if I may say so myself.
Anyway.
My thoughts on the book (This time, spoilers galore):
I used to like Matthew. Then I hated him. Then, I hated him some more. And more. Stupid Matthew, being so mean to Frankie, then blaming her for everything and hating her guts like that! SERIOUSLY, person! If you had just been honest to her about the Loyal Order, she wouldn't have done all those pranks! And Alpha wouldn't have been close to being expelled! GAH!
I still like Alpha. Thought I can see what Trish and Porter mean about his... uppity-ness. He isn't the most humble or... or... the most noxious person. (Negated postive, for the win!). But, I love him anyway. He reminds me of Damon Salvatore in way, too. Don't you agree?
Frankie is most definitely one of my favourite heroines. Her mind is, in a way, like Poirot's, in that same quick-thinking/what-a-fascinating-mind,-I-think-we-need-to-dissect-it-sometime way. I love the ending, and her thoughts then; and her not caring about having friends, just making an impact. And, she's self-conscious, but doesn't let that get to her. I want to be Frankie when I grow up. Aside from the whole trouble-maker thing. I'd get expelled.
NO MORE SPOILERS.
As I'm typing this, I keep trying to type fast enough so the automatic save thing can't save for me. It's like a race, between me and the save button. And I shall win!
GAH!

In which I elaborate.
I suppose I should elaborate more about myself before school starts and my posting gets limited.
My favourite colour is orange. I am Canadian, so I'm not spelling colour or favourite wrong. Really. My favourite band is Stars, this little Canadian indie band which 98% of the world has never heard about. My favourite author is the absolutely amazlingly awesome Tamora Pierce. My favourite book is... hard to choose. I'll put a list of my favourite books on later. My favourite series by TP is the Daughter of the Lioness series, aka, Trickster's Choice and Trickster's Queen, because I love Aly, and Nawat. and Dove. Dove is brilliant, and one of my four favourite heroines.
My favourite heroines are, in no particular order: Queen Alyss Heart, Queen Dove Balitang, Sally Lockhart, and (Queen) Ozma of Oz. Or Book!Dorothy. They are from The Looking Glass Wars by Frank Beddor, Daughter of the Lioness series by Tamora Pierce, the Sally Lockhart mysteries (Ruby in the Smoke, Shadow in the North, Tiger in the Well, and The Tin Princess) by Philip Pullman, and the Oz books by Frank L. Baum, respectively.
If I had more followers , I'd ask about you; but I only have one (hellooo!). So, if you want tell me about yourself, and hopefully I'll get an e-mail, and it'll make me feel important.
The smallest things amuse me.
Anyway.
Currently, I'm reading ArchEnemy by Frank Beddor (Guess who gets the title now? *jumps in the air, arm wagging* ME!), and am on page 145. Good, so far. Yay Alyss!
Also, I saw Scott Pilgrim vs The World today. What a funny movie. Michael Cera was, of course brilliant. The way it was directed... you just have to see it, and understand.
Toodles!

In which this whole thing starts.
So. Hello. My name's Hannah. I'm twelve years old. I love books and music.
The main purpose of this blog is to talk about books, and what I'm reading; it also serves to squee or rant over any other thing.
Right now, I just finished The Tin Woodman of Oz. I have The Magic of Oz and Glinda of Oz to read read before I have read all of the Oz books (available to me, mind. I can't find Tik-Tok of Oz anywhere). Tomorrow, I'm hoping to get ArchEnemy by Frank Beddor, in the Looking Glass War series. I hear Alyss and Dodge marry...?
I have Kiss With a Fist by Florence and the Machine stuck in my head. I have a craving for banana chocolate chip muffins, which my dad brought home after driving my Grandma to and from a party.
And, for those of you wondering, apokolokyntosis is the art of turning into a pumpkin, or pumpkinification. I learned about it from Kristin Cashore's wonderful blog, Kristin Cashore being the author of two brilliant books, Graceling and Fire.
